Camco Engineering operates out of modern, well-equipped industrial facilities in Western Australia, offering fully integrated support for the defence sector. Our workshops provide easy access to major road, rail, sea, and air transport options, ensuring efficient delivery and logistics for critical projects.

Engineering Capability: Manufacturing Precision at Scale

Designed to handle complex mechanical manufacturing, Camco Engineering utilises some of Australia’s largest and most capable facilities. We provide a total solution from technical design to heavy-duty  execution.

  • Capacity: 26,000m2 under hook and a single lift crane capacity of up to 150 tonnes.
  • Capability: Camco’s fully integrated facilities offer:
    • CNC machining to high tolerances with virtually no limit on size or volume.
    • Gear manufacturing up to 1.6m diameter producing gears to the AGMA standard or equivalent standards - DNV/JIS/ISO. AGMA finishes between 3 and 15 achievable.
    • Fabrication and welding of carbon steels across main workshops and segregated facilities to weld exotics/corrosion resistant alloys to the highest standard.
    • Assembly facilities delivering complex works from small to extremely large components and/or equipment.
  • Verification: Advanced metrology and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to validate performance and compliance against agreed specifications.
  • Integrated Solutions: Full-service engineering and manufacturing support including design, drawing development and quality assurance.

As a member of the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP), we apply a “security-in-depth” principle across all physical and cyber domains. Our risk-informed controls further align with ISO 27001 and the Essential Eight Maturity Model to safeguard against unauthorized access. Guided by the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), we support these technical measures with mandatory security awareness training for all personnel, fostering a mature and proactive security culture.
